Burnshield Sterile Trauma Blanket

Burnshield Sterile Trauma Blanket is a versatile emergency solution developed for use in fire and serious burn incidents. Made from 100% wool, the blanket provides heat protection and, together with Burnshield sterile hydrogel, helps cool and protect affected areas.

The blanket can be used to protect people from flames, assist rescue workers entering or exiting a fire area, and smother flames on a burn victim. It can also be used as a large dressing to cover extensive burns and help protect the affected area while the patient is being transported to emergency medical care.

Its specially designed interlinking cellular wool structure helps retain the hydrogel while maintaining flexibility. The blanket contains no loose fibres and can quickly cover large areas of the body when required.

For convenient transport and storage, the blanket is supplied in a PVC shoulder barrel bag, making it particularly practical for firefighters, emergency response teams, military personnel, industrial facilities and other high-risk environments.
