SAM IO Driver (IO700)

The SAM IO Driver (IO700) is the reusable manual driver component of the SAM IO Intraosseous Access System, developed to provide rapid vascular access when conventional intravenous access is difficult or impossible.

The ergonomic trigger handle uses a passive ratcheting mechanism that generates controlled rotational movement, allowing smooth advancement of the IO needle into bone without the need for batteries or electrical power. Its mechanical design delivers dependable performance in prehospital, military, emergency department, and hospital environments.

The driver is compatible with 15 mm, 25 mm, and 45 mm SAM IO needles and may be cleaned and disinfected according to the manufacturer's instructions for repeated use. Under normal conditions and in the absence of mechanical damage, the driver has no defined expiration period.
